Uzoma – Live from Bada Wings in Raleigh, NC

Hailing originally from Charlotte, NC then migrating to the Triangle via UNC-Chapel Hill, Uzoma Nwosu has been heavily involved with music for a long time. From running a record store in Chapel Hill to leading as CEO of Signal Fest, a multi-genre electronic festival running for the last four years in Chapel Hill, he has done a lot to promote and nurture good music, no matter the style. Personally he enjoys music from 80s pop to dance rock to DnB and his latest obsession, Dubstep.

John Brier – Live from Bada Wings in Raleigh, NC

John Brier’s interest in electronic music technically started after listening to music downloaded from in the late 1990s. However the seed may have been originally planted in 1983 when his father was playing Yaz records the summer after he was born. Today he is interested in most kinds of EDM, house, techno, progressive, and occasionally Happy Hardcore. As long as it is promotes dancing, he probably likes it. Also he has a fondness for any interesting music, particularly Indie Rock. Check out his site at for more information and to get in touch with John.

This mix was recorded live at Bada Wings on 3-Dec-2010 for Uzoma’s birthday party, and has a little bit of everything: Indie, 80s, Pop, and Progressive House.
